Fairfield Prep Wins First-Ever SCC Boys Basketball Title

Top-seeded Fairfield Prep, behind Tournament Most Oustanding Player Tommy Nolan (15 points, 5 assists) and League Most Valuable Player Paschal Chukwu (18 points, 12 rebounds, 7 blocks), defeated #3 Hillhouse, 56-52, in the 2014 SCC Boys Basketball Championship Game at Quinnipiac's TD Bank Sports Center.  It is the Jesuits' first-ever SCC title in three trips to the final game.  Hillhouse (18-5), which appeared in its sixth straight league title game, was led by Shane Christie (20 points, 9 rebounds)
