Hand captured the 2011 SCC Gymnastics Championship, held Thursday, February 10 at Jonathan Law High School. It was the Tigers' third straight league title and 14th overall.  Hand finished with 135.4 points, followed by runner-up Jonathan Law (124.2) and third-place Foran (122.9).  Guilford placed fourth (68.6), while Hamden (67.25) was fifth and Branford (65.75) placed sixth.

Hand's Kimmy Megargee finished with the all-around title (35.95), while Guilford's Dana Colonese was second (35.75). Colonese was selected as the competition's Most Outstanding Performer.  Hand's Maia Smith was third (32.3), while teammate Stefani Taschner was fourth (33.2). 

Hand Captures 2010 SCC Gymnastics Title

Hand captured its second straight SCC gymnastics title, and 13th overall.   Foran's Andrea Figuly was named as the meet's Most Outstanding Performer.

Hand Wins 2009 SCC Gymnastics Title

Hand, behind all-around champion Kimmy Megargee, captured the 2009 SCC gymnastics title... The Tigers (133.7 points) finished ahead of last year's champion Foran (127.8) and Jonathan Law (126.4)... Branford (119.15) finished fourth, while Hamden (93.4) was fifth... It is Hand's 13th SCC title in 15 years... Click here for complete results

2007-08 RECAP

Foran Captures 2008 SCC Gymnastics Title

(2-8-08) - Foran won its first-ever SCC gymnastics title, totaling 130.15 points, and narrowly defeating city-rival Jonathan Law (129.05).   Hand placed third with 128.40 points.   West Haven's Jen Fuggi won her second straight All-Around individual title -  with a SCC record 37.60 points - and was named the competition's Most Outstanding Performer.
