2007 RECAP
Amity Captures Second Straight SCC Title
(5-24-07) -- The Amity boys’ volleyball team won the Southern Connecticut Conference championship for the eighth time in program history with a convincing 3-0 (25-20, 25-22, 25-14) victory over third-seeded Hand. By taking the 2007 title match, the Spartans claimed the crown for the first time since 2001. Amity had won seven straight titles from 1995-2001.

Hand (13-7) reached the Class M state championship match, but fell to Lewis Mills, 3-0 (25-15, 25-21, 25-23).
