The four divisions will be named Division I West, Division I East, Division II West, and Division II East. Each division will have a 15-player All-Star team selected by the head coaches. The league's Scheduling Committee, chaired by Guilford Athletic Director Chip Dorwin, was satisfied with the new alignment. "The four-divisional format for football allowed for better scheduling and equity," Dorwin explained. "The important point is that each school can look at their schedules and be assured they can be competitive in the majority of their games." The four-divisional format will have a two-year cycle. During this time, the Scheduling Committee will collect and analyze data and make additional recommendations as necessary.
