Girls Cross Country - News

Guilford captured the 2011 SCC girls cross country championship, which was held on Thursday, October 20 at Hammonasset State Park in Madison.    Thanks to the Woodbridge Running Company for its sponsorship of the 2011 SCC Championships.

It was the Indians' second straight title, and their seventh in the last eight years.

Hillhouse's Kellie Davis was the girls' individual winner - finished in 19:13.

Guilford captured the 2010 SCC Girls Cross Country championship, which was held on Thursday, October 21 at Hammonasset State Park in Madison.  It is the Indians' sixth SCC title in the last seven years.

Guilford (45 points) finished ahead of runner-up Hand (66) and third-place Hillhouse (123).   Hand junior Sarah Cotton won the race (18:36.63) followed by Hillhouse sophomore Kellie Davis (18:58.87).

Cheshire Wins 2009 SCC Girls Cross Country Title

Thursday, October 22 - Hammonasset State Park - Madison

Oct. 22 - Cheshire won the 2009 SCC girls cross country title at Hammonasset State Park in Madison... The Rams (64 points) narrowly defeated five-time defending champion Guilford (69), while Shelton (82) and Hand (84) finished third and fourth, respectively...
