Congratulations to Fairfield Prep senior Connor Rog, who finished 18th with a time of 15:35 at the Foot Locker National High School Cross Country championships on Saturday, December 10 at Balboa Park in San Diego. Xavier captured the 2011 SCC boys cross country championship, held Thursday, October 20 at Hammonasset State Park in Madison. Thanks to the Woodbridge Running Company for its sponsorship of the 2011 SCC Championships.

Guilford - 2010 SCC Boys Cross Country champions (photo by Bill O'Brien)
Guilford captured the 2010 SCC Boys Cross Country championship, which was held on Thursday, October 21 at Hammonasset State Park in Madison. It is Guilford's first SCC title since 2004.
The Indians beat out Xavier, the defending SCC champions, 60-74. Fairfield Prep placed third (77). The Jesuits had the top individual finisher in junior Connor Rog (15:54.48).

Xavier Wins 2009 SCC Boys Cross Country Title
Thursday, October 22 - Hammonasset State Park - Madison
(Oct. 22) - Xavier won the 2009 SCC boys cross country title at Hammonasset State Park in Madison... The Falcons (63 points) finished ahead of runner-up Hamden (88) and third-place Cheshire (106)... It is Xavier's sixth SCC title and its first since 2006... Cheshire's Sean Mueller won the individual title finishing the 3.1 mile course in 15:51.78... Click here for complete boys results
